24-Aug-2010 Matthew: Hi, does this camera support 802.3af standard PoE (i.e. it will work with any PoE switch or midspan, does not require a proprietary power supply), and what are the power/data connections like? I assume there is an RJ45 socket underneath the rear panel to allow any cat5 cable to be run straight in? Thanks.

mark h: Yes it supports IEEE 802.3af and can be powered from any switch or midspan. We have just put the full specifications sheet on all our IP cameras so if you check the product again you will be able to view the full specs. The pictures don't show the connections but if you have a look at the TOP-757VPC-MIR, the connections are the same, it come outs the camera in one cable then splits so you have the RJ45, a local power if preferred, Audio in and audio out

mark h: Only the camera. A suitable bracket would be the TP-205N and AKEPSU3AMP for the power supply
