Paul: If the TV has a SD card reader that will play video then its possible that the video would play but they are designed to play in a PC or a Laptop.

12-Dec-2011 Millie: Does it always have to be connected to PC or a laptop to record it? or can I connect it whenever i wish to view it? And also how long can it record for? it says 2 hours, is that true?

paul: Records to an SD card which would then be inserted into a Laptop or PC to view the footage. 2gb is 2 hours, max it can support is 32gb

Gavin: No, you would need to switch between the two, unless you bought another package of camera and receiver, then you could plug the receivers into a DVR. They would then work independently. Thanks
