9-Dec-2010 Mark: Hi, I am looking to purchase a CCTV system from you, I am looking at the AVC793D 4 camera DVR. I intend to view the DVR via my TV, am I correct in assuming that I will need to purchase the AKEVCONN5 cable to allow my SCART tv to interface with the DVR? Many thanks Mark

mark h: There are a few possible solutions, if your TV has a VGA input then you are best off using this, you could also go in though a composite (yellow RCA) with a BNC lead and RCA plug - AKEVCONN4 and AKEBNC1. The Scart convertor would be the last input option as the image quality would be lower than the other 2 options. You would also need a BNC cable like AKEBNC1
