2-Aug-2011 Desmac: I'm looking for a CCTV system with up to 8 cameras, with overlapping fields. How does the automatic record system deal with movement from one camera to the other, particularly in the overlap area? What would you recommend for width of vision versus definition & range

mark h: Hi, when you say overlapping fields you mean like a panoramic view, so adding up the various cameras to give you a continuous wide shot? In an analogue format we don't have a unit that would allow a smooth continuous image, the cameras would be segmented up into their channels and displayed on screen in a block of 4 8 or 16.
